Default Festival collectors remain in town shortly after festival.

There have been a few bad cases in the past where the festival collectors would disappear right after the festival was over, leaving many people stuck with large amounts of festival-exclusive items that they couldn't do anything with.

I'd like to see that for all future events, collectors will stay in the festival towns anywhere from a day to a week after the event is finished. I don't want to make it terribly long term, because I don't feel that's necessary. I do feel it necessary that people don't miss out on the chance to cash in items because they missed one of the last days of a festival, or had forgotten to do it.

I'd like to build support for this idea now, as the Dragon Festival is probably going to be coming in 2-4 weeks.

I'm sitting on a lot of junk too. In fact during the last wintersday I did the snowman quest and at the end couldn't get the reward?

For the vast majority of players, there's absolutely no need for this. Everyone is informed when the events are scheduled to end. Those few people who got "stuck" with left-over items brought it on themselves because they didn't plan accordingly.

I have no sypmathy at all.

Although it may be very difficult to believe, some people live outside of Guild Wars.

I remember missing the hats for the first Wintersday thing because I was visiting family 140 miles away.

Yeah. When trophies are on stage, they should leave a 'late' collector with all stuff during the working days of the next weekend.

This thread.

The Dragon Festival occurs in early July, usually around Independence Day or that Canadian holiday that I can't remember the name of.

My guess is that it will be in 3 or 4 weeks, as 2 weeks from now would still be in late June.
